Colt Brust is a professional striper fishing guide who normally works out on Lake Texoma, near Pottsboro – only one hour north of the greater Dallas, Ft. Worth metropolitan area.
Colt and Texoma Trips pride our business model for the highest in custom satisfaction and fishing experience. We’re flexible and can accommodate as many boats as needed. Whether it’s a charter for just two people, a group of 6 fishermen or more, we’re ready to provide the right number of boats— more the merrier! We never mix charters, so you do not have to worry about fishing with strangers.
We love putting our clients onto stripers – including kids. We go out of our way to show kids a great time. In fact, kids often catch more than our adult clients, due to the extra effort we show them.
Depending on the season, our first charter of the day usually leaves around 6am, with the last charter leaving around 3pm. This ensures we’re able to put our clients on top of stripers, regardless of the time of day. Of course, seasons make a difference in these start times.
We have tackle for all occasions, such as rods ready for top water striper action, jigs already rigged up, and of course live bait. We do whatever is appropriate for the day
